How to motion track objects including texts, pictures on a clip in Filmora X :

Step 1 : Import the video files on which you want to motion track your objects. The shortcut for importing clips is Ctrl+I.

Step 2 : Drag the clips on to your timeline.

Step 3 : Put the video clip (B-Roll) which you want to motion track along with an object in your first layer (A-Roll). In this case, I am using a text layer to motion track with my original video layer (A-Roll). So, first taking a Title layer and adjusting according to the video on the timeline.

In this case, Let's just track the face of the cyclist and put our Title layer there.

Step 4 : For tracking our A layer, right click on it and select Motion Tracking. The shortcut for motion tracking is Alt+X. In the menu option, Enable Motion Tracking. Now, A rectangle will appear on your video layer. You can position it wherever you want to and can also resize the rectangle according to your needs.
After positioning your rectangle on the area which you want to track, Click 'Start Tracking'. Wait for the process to get completed.

Step 5 : After Tracking is done, From the drop down menu, select the layer which you want to apply to the motion. You will be showed all the layers which you have in your timeline. Select your desired layer from the menu.

Our title layer is now successfully applied to the motion as you can see below !
